WHAT TO EXPECT REGARDING PGP 2022

PGP EVENT
As a reminder, the Wilton Youth Council Post Graduation Party (PGP) is an exciting, inclusive, and substance-free all night, lock-in event. Run by parents volunteers, our grads will experience surprises, engaging activities, fun entertainment, amazing prizes, and each leave with a gift and life-long memories from a safe and awesome night. In order to provide the venue, food and extraordinary entertainment, we fundraise to make up half of the costs with the remaining coming from ticket sales.

The Wilton Youth Council PGP will be held on the night of Wilton High School Graduation which is determined by administrators.

TICKET SALES & REGISTRATION
The ticket price this year will be $122 (traditionally the price ends in the graduation year). However, if you are paying through Paypal there will be an additional processing fee, so the price will be $125 or you have the option of sending a check for $122.

Registration by the parent is not complete until WYC and Chelsea Piers waivers have been submitted. All registered students will receive a themed PGP invitation closer to the event, which is when the PGP 2022 theme will be revealed.

As our operating budget needs funds to pay vendors now, the sooner parents register the better! There will be extra "prize draw" incentives for your student the earlier you register, so stay tuned for those details.

MEMORABILIA
The memorabilia committee has the important job of gathering photos from the families of all our students and assembling displays this spring in Wilton High School for the students and virtual presentations for the parents. The traditional interactive game of "Guess Who" is one of the many ways we celebrate our grads this spring.

Please help the memorabilia committee but getting your submissions in by the requested deadlines to make this huge undertaking run smoothly! You will be receiving directions from them in the coming weeks.

VOLUNTEERS
We need you!! On the night of the event, we will need MANY parent volunteers in various capacities. Please be open to blocking out your night and taking on a shift at Chelsea Piers. Trust us, it is really fun to be there, and your kids will appreciate it!

There will be upcoming communications on how to sign-up for working as the following: hospitality (check-in & check-out), chaperones (floaters in Chelsea Piers), casino dealer, activity monitors, transportation monitors, to name a few.

SCHOLARSHIPS/DONATIONS/FUNDRAISING
The ticket price for PGP does not preclude a graduating student from attending the party. If you have special circumstances, you may confidentially reach out to Dr. Lori Smith,
twinsdoc4@gmail.com or Sarah Heath, Director of Wilton Social Services, sarah.heath@wiltonct.org and 203-834-6238, to request a scholarship ticket.

We are forever grateful to families willing to donate above and beyond the $122 ticket price to generously add to our scholarship fund. There will be tax deductible donation instructions with our registration information.
